Against the grain was founded in 1996 by two women manufacturing custom case goods in a 4000 square foot space. We have now grown into a 16,000 square foot shop and continue to grow without ever sacrificing quality.

Our inspiration comes from timeless furniture with clean modern lines. We design with our customers needs in mind, creating "thoughtful" furniture that is inspiring to look at... From beautiful furniture, P.O.P. Displays, built in cabinetry, bathroom vanities and beautiful high end kitchens.

We have and continue to pride ourselves in our great pieces that are hand crafted in the USA... Using domestic products. Most importantly we strive to continue with our superior quality and service to our customers and live by the mantra "We design with our minds and build with our hearts."
